When we started our hackathon under Mentozy, I thought the hardest part would be getting people to register.
I was wrong.
People will come. Especially if you’re doing something real.
What actually gets difficult is everything that comes after:
Managing sudden growth without breaking your system
Handling people who trust your platform (judges, participants, partners)
Making decisions fast… without always being sure
Staying calm when everything feels like it’s happening at once
In the last few days, I’ve learned something important:
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You just need to not lose control of what’s already working.
It’s easy to say yes to every opportunity—workshops, collaborations, features…
But growth isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing the right things at the right time.
Right now, I’m focusing on:
Executing one hackathon properly
Building systems slowly (not rushing everything)
Choosing clarity over chaos
If you’re building something too, here’s my honest advice:
Start simple.
Stay consistent.
Don’t chase perfection in the middle of execution.
And when things start working…
don’t panic.
Just breathe… and keep going.
