This project focuses on creating a high-end visual identity and print-ready packaging for Viceroy, a luxury room fragrance brand. The objective was to blend classical elegance with modern print technicalities to create a product that stands out on retail shelves and luxury interiors.
The design centers around a sophisticated Black and Gold palette to evoke a sense of premium quality and timelessness. The Cinzel typeface was utilized for the brand name to bring a classical Roman aesthetic, paired with minimalist layouts for clear communication.
As a designer focused on the intersection of aesthetics and production, the label was engineered to meet industry standards:
Trim Size: 2.5" x 5"
Bleed Area: 0.125" on all sides for seamless edge-to-edge printing.
Safe Zone Management: All critical elements (text, barcodes, and borders) are kept within a 0.15" safe margin.
Color Profile: Optimized in CMYK (U.S. Web Coated SWOP v2) for color accuracy.
Resolution: 300 DPI high-definition output.
Custom Illustration: Detailed Lavender and Vanilla artwork for immediate scent recognition.
Typography Hierarchy: Clear distinction between brand identity, fragrance notes, and regulatory information.
