I build AI Transcribe on my own, under Engcraft. It is a transcription and meeting notes app for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
The Mac app sits in the menu bar and records the sound the Mac plays together with the microphone, so both sides of a Zoom, Meet or Teams call are in the transcript. No bot joins the call. It offers to record when a meeting starts, Control-Option-R starts and stops it, and live captions show while it records.
On iPhone it records meetings, lectures and interviews in the room, and imports audio and video files up to 3 hours.
Transcripts have speaker labels and timestamps in 32 languages. One tap gives meeting notes, action items or a summary. You can ask questions of a recording, translate it, or share it as a link. Recordings sync between iPhone, Mac and a web library.
One purchase covers iPhone and Mac. Free to try, Pro is a subscription.
I would like feedback on the Mac recording flow, and on how speaker labels hold up with your own audio.
