Vekt is a desktop work management app built for freelancers and small service teams (1–5 people).

Most project management tools are designed for large organizations — complex, expensive per seat, and completely cloud-dependent. Vekt takes a different approach: it runs locally on your machine, keeps your data under your control, and gives you just the tools you actually need without the bloat.

Why local-first?

Your project data stays on your machine by default. No forced cloud subscriptions, no per-seat pricing that punishes you for growing your team. Cloud sync is available when you want to collaborate across devices, but it's your choice — not a requirement.

Built with Electron and vanilla JavaScript. Designed with a clean, modern UI.

Vekt is part of a two-app suite alongside Vestimate (a construction cost estimation tool), both targeting professionals in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

Currently in active development and shipping fast.
