QRelix is a dynamic QR code generator for small businesses, nonprofits, and anyone who puts QR codes on printed things. Every code can be edited after it’s printed, and every scan is tracked.
How it started
One of our customers wanted to know which of their sales staff were actually getting Google Business reviews. A normal QR code couldn’t tell them, so we built one that could: each scan routed through our own redirect, logged with time, device, and location, and tied to the person whose card it was printed on. That turned into QRelix.
What it does
Editable QR codes: change where a code points at any time. Menus, flyers, table tents, product labels, and signs keep working when a link changes, so nothing gets reprinted.
QR code analytics: see every scan by day and hour, device type, and city and country, on every plan, including free. Compare codes to find out which flyer, sign, or location actually gets scanned.
39 QR code types: website links, Wi-Fi, vCard business cards, PDFs, restaurant menus, link in bio pages, Google review links, social profiles, WhatsApp, payment links, calendar events, and more.
Access controls: password protection, expiration dates, scan limits, geofencing, and day and time schedules, so a code only works when and where you want it to.
Design and print: custom colors and logo with a live preview, and print-ready 300 DPI SVG and PNG downloads that stay sharp from a business card to a banner.
UTM tags: every scan can carry UTM parameters, so QR traffic shows up properly in Google Analytics.
Who uses it
Restaurants and cafes updating menus, retailers and real estate agents tracking print campaigns, churches and libraries sharing bulletins and sign-ups, farms labeling lots and market signs, and marketing teams comparing placements.
Pricing
Free: unlimited dynamic QR codes, all 39 types, full scan analytics, and access controls, with 20 scans a month per code and a short QRelix screen before each redirect.
Pro, $5.99 a month: unlimited scans, no branding, Smart Routing (send each scan to a different page by device, country, language, or time), and unlimited hosted pages.
Team, $19 a month for 3 seats: a shared workspace with owner, admin, editor, and viewer roles, custom domains, bulk creation of up to 1,000 codes from a CSV, and a developer API with Zapier and Make.
How it’s built
Next.js and React with TypeScript, PostgreSQL with Prisma, Stripe for billing, and hosting on Vercel. The iPhone app is built with Expo and React Native and uses the same account as the web app.
