Briefance turns messy client emails into bulletproof project briefs in 3 seconds.
It's a vertical AI SaaS for freelancers, designers, developers, and small agencies. Drop in any chaotic client input — an email, a Slack thread, a half-written PDF, or a transcribed voice note — and Briefance converts it into a structured, sendable project brief. Scope, timeline, budget range, deliverables, missing questions, and a one-click proposal. All in seconds.
We're not a generic AI assistant. We're a single-purpose tool for the single most painful moment in freelance work: turning a vague client request into something you can actually quote on.
The problem we solve
Every freelance project starts with a vague message like "Hey, I want a website. Something modern. Maybe like Apple but for our industry. When can you start?" What follows is a 1–2 hour ritual of reading it three times, extracting requirements, listing missing info, estimating scope and price, and writing a polite reply asking for clarification. Multiply that across every new lead and it's the silent tax on freelance income. Briefance compresses that ritual to 3 seconds.
How it works
Step 1 — Drop the mess in. Paste an email body, drop a PDF, upload a .docx, or paste a Slack thread. The input doesn't need to be clean — that's the whole point.
Step 2 — Briefance scopes it. Our prompt plus Anthropic Claude (via the Vercel AI SDK) extracts the project type, scope (what's in, what's out), concrete deliverables, a realistic phased timeline, a budget range, missing information the client forgot to answer, and risk flags for vague requirements or scope creep.
Step 3 — Send it, track it, convert it. Export a branded PDF with your logo and colors, share via link and see when the client opens it, convert to a proposal with pricing and acceptance flow in one click, and save as a template for similar future projects.
Who it's for
Freelance designers and developers who want to cut new-lead scoping from 1–2 hours to under a minute. Small agencies (2–10 people) standardizing brief quality across junior and senior staff. Solo consultants producing investor-grade proposals without a designer. Studio owners automating the leap from first client meeting to signed proposal. And no-code / low-code builders who want to keep client expectations tight with a written, mutual scope.

Why Briefance vs. ChatGPT or Notion AI
Generic AI forces you to re-write the same prompt for every brief and produces inconsistent structure. Briefance is one click, every time, with always-identical output. PDF export is branded and client-ready, not a manual copy-paste. Client tracking, templates with variables, team collaboration, and a built-in acceptance flow simply don't exist in general-purpose AI. Generic AI is a great Swiss Army knife. Briefance is a chef's knife for one specific cut.
Brand identity
Sharp, confident, slightly punk. Built by freelancers for freelancers. Clean typography, generous whitespace, and a single piece of acid yellow (#EAF13C) that stops you mid-scroll. Light theme is Notion-inspired and warm; dark theme is neobrutalist with 4px brutal shadows. Typography is Geist Sans + Geist Mono on an 8px grid.
