CCNx framework setup was made in the computer lab to assess the overall benefits and drawbacks compared to normal routing/networking schemes for performance of live video-streaming. Groundbreaking results and analysis presented through a research paper at the end of the practical testing and implementation of about 40 hours. Topics covered were content caching at nodes, latency, memory issue for nodes, packet loss, link loading and port analysis. Plugins/frameworks/tools: CCNx open source framework, Wireshark port analyser and VLC codec for streaming video files.
