I conducted an in-depth study on the structure and electrical characteristics of Cadmium Chalcogenides. Our research revealed that these materials are the most stable among the studied polymers, showing promising structural, electronic, and optical properties. They are optically active across the IR, visible, and UV spectrum, making them suitable for applications in sensors and photodiodes. Our findings suggest that Cadmium Chalcogenides are a versatile and promising semiconductor material capable of operating across a wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum.
