Agile Development Methodology: Implementation team followed an Agile iterative development model. Rather than getting it exactly right the first time, they got it approximately right. Then, continuously taking feedback from stakeholders, they corrected course to achieve completion. With this collaborative approach and with excellent support from stakeholders, the implementation team was able to build a product which not only met functional requirements, but also non-functional requirements such as Improved Site Performance, Increased Security and better SEO. Some important requirements are • Intra-site SOLR search • Optimal IDM authentication • Sitecore security • Sitecore Content approval workflows • Ecommerce server integration • Web services for integration with other platforms • Dynamic carousels in Sitecore and • Web Form Wizards. Automation: Automation test suite built with Coded UI. Data migration: Implementation team conducted data migration from from MS Commerce server to Orckestra Overture ecommerce and content migration from Sharepoint to Sitecore. End User Training: Team created user guides, video recordings and multiple one-on-one training sessions. Production setup: DevOps team prepared three sites at the Data center 2 staging and a Production environment. These included installation of Sitecore and product dependencies. UAT support: Client conducted several rounds of thorough UAT testing with 20+ UAT testers.
