37Studio is a free, open-source AI video studio and social media manager for agencies, freelancers and small teams that run many brands. It makes on-brand videos and images, posts them to 9 platforms and drafts replies to every DM and comment, on your own computer or server.

Why we built it

We run a few education products in Dhaka (Course37, BCS Mate and Daily Exam), and social media was eating our week. Every launch needed a reel, every 2-hour class could have been ten clips, and every post brought messages that needed an answer the same evening. The tools that help are separate monthly subscriptions, and they want your footage on their servers. So we built one app that does all of it, and open-sourced it under MIT.

What it does

• Brand library from a website: paste a client's website and 37Studio collects its logos, fonts, exact colours and photos, then writes a design system and a knowledge base.

• AI video editor: brief a video in plain words. Claude Code builds it as a HyperFrames (HTML-to-video) composition, renders stills to check its own work, and takes changes in plain words.

• Long video to short clips: turn a 2-hour class, podcast or webinar into many vertical reels with word-by-word captions. Transcription runs locally with Whisper, in about 100 languages.

• Every format: Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikToks (9:16), YouTube videos and explainers (16:9), feed posts (1:1 and 4:5), thumbnails, promo ads and podcast clips.

• Social media scheduling: post to Facebook Pages, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Bluesky and Mastodon, now or on a schedule, with a caption written for each platform.

• Autopilot: write a content plan once (topics, days, time, accounts). 37Studio picks a fresh topic, makes the video a few hours early and waits for your one-click approval.

• Unified inbox with AI replies: Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp messages and comments in one place, with replies drafted from each company's knowledge base, in the customer's language.

• Assistant and MCP server: run the whole studio by chatting, or connect Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Cursor to its MCP server (65 tools) and manage companies, campaigns, videos and publishing from your own AI agent.

• Real costs: every video, company and month shows its actual AI cost, with no markup.

Bring your own AI

Use your Claude Pro or Max plan (no API key needed), an Anthropic API key, or OpenCode with Kimi, Qwen, GLM and DeepSeek. Gemini (images and video clips) and ElevenLabs (voiceover, sound effects and music) are optional.

Self-hosted and private

One Docker image for Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Linux, or your own server with automatic HTTPS and a password. Footage, brands and messages stay on your machine, API keys are encrypted, and there's no telemetry.

Free and open source
