Documented the entire production process of Ilkal Sarees by the weavers of Sulebhavi, Karnataka. The process includes preparation of yarn, selection of colors and border patterns, weaving of sarees and post-production distribution to sellers and shopkeepers. Also, designed a 3-piece ensemble using Ilkal weaved fabric which focuses on minimum fabric wastage and adaptability to the modern trends. The subtle white ensemble comprises of a gathered off-shoulder crop top with a side slit flared pants, and a long shrug in misty blue giving a perfect summer vibe and modern twist to this Ilkal-inspired look.
