International students go through a lot when transitioning into a new environment. I was privileged to have friends from Ghana who helped me get furniture. Imagine coming to a whole new place with limited funds and dependents. How will you adapt to the new environment? Since getting beds and other furniture is a big problem for a lot of international students, I worked with a team of amazing people to provide about 30 beds for some international students at Iowa State University. We did it in August 2023 and hope to continue every semester. Let's see how that goes :)
