First time experience with open source community

We all use many software daily, and i bet most of them uses open-source software in any capacity. even i, daily use many of the things that are made by really talented programmers. and i'm really thankful for it.
I made a tool, that i created when i was working on my portfolio. I finalized design and feel. then came the showcase part - where i show my work. i captured some screenshots but they felt lacking to me.
like, something was missing. at that time i decided i should do something for it.
after figuring our and checking out some other screenshot tools, one thing was common. every single tool was paid, or designed so that anything that looks good required some kind of premium.
I thought i can do something in this niche gap. at that time, i was also looking for a easy way to self-host the app. I found many options, but most of them were either lacking on options, or was expensive.
finally, i decided to choose railway. and i got my reasons for that. first off, they're not a cloud wrapper like other services. they use their own data centers and that means really cheap prices.
second, railway uses pay-per-use. so do not need to pay more than what you use.
third, their really awesome collection of templates.
moocup is also live as a template, with a single click you'll get your own self-hosted copy of moocup.
check it out here : https://railway.com/deploy/moocup
also, when i was checking out all the platforms. I've had a look and also sent them for review, and got high praise.
below are some of the conversation b/w me and railway team.

they liked it and even donated a ko-fi on my page.
in the end, I decided to open-source it and convert it to a template that everyone can easily self-host. I'm really happy to be a part of open-source, and hope to see better future from it.
