Xing is the professional network people use across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. If you already have a list of Xing profile URLs, the Xing Profile API turns each one into a clean, structured JSON record you can drop into a spreadsheet, a database, or an AI workflow.
You send profile URLs (or bare handles like Jane_Doe) and get back one record per person: full name and title, current role and city, complete employment history with company, job title and dates, education, listed skills in German and English, spoken languages, professional groups and interests, and a set of comparable profiles. Every record also carries a one-line plain-language summary and a fetch timestamp. Inputs that cannot be collected come back as clear error records instead of failing the whole run.
It handles up to 1000 profiles per run and bills per profile returned, so a URL that returns nothing costs nothing. There is no discovery mode: the tool reads profiles you already hold URLs for, it does not search for people.
What it returns
Identity: name, given and family name, honorifics, profile photo
Role: current job title and location
Experience: full employment history with company, title, and dates
Education, skills (verbatim, in the language you enter), and languages
Groups, interests, and similar profiles
A one-line summary and a fetch timestamp on every record

Works with MCP
The Xing Profile API runs over MCP, so AI clients like Claude can call it directly as a tool. Ask something like "pull the current role, city, and skills for these five Xing profiles and give me a table," and it returns structured rows with no scraping code on your side. That makes it a fit for candidate-sourcing agents and research assistants working the DACH market.
