-Orchestrated and spearheaded the first UNC Women in the Workforce Conference to ensure that the students, faculty, and staff of UNC gained insight into the challenges of being a woman in today’s workplace -Communicated and consulted with 5 influential women in professional fields (including Engineering, Psychology, Computer Science, and Chemistry) to attend as speakers/panelists -Designed event schedule, including panel arrangement, panel question & answer session, and small group discussions with panelists -Operated event promotion by disbursing flyers, operating social media, and maintaining contact with UNC student body and faculty members -Attended and facilitated event committee meetings in order to assign individual duties, evenly disburse responsibilities, and establish the goals and expectations of the conference
