NameDaemon App is nine free tools for .com domain names in a window of their own. Install it from the browser (Chrome or Edge) and find a name, judge it and watch it without a pile of tabs.
I built it because choosing a name for a new project kept turning into the same chore: generate ideas, find that most are taken, check the rest one by one, then wonder whether a used domain has a bad past. The tools answer those questions from a daily snapshot of about 167 million registered .com names, with live registry checks for the answers that matter.
Domain Name Generator: scored ideas that are not taken, confirmed live.
Availability Checker: up to 50 names at once - taken, available or about to drop.
Domain Report: one shareable page per name (score, appraisal, screening, handles, health, history).
Domain Score and Appraisal: a 0 to 100 score that explains itself, and a strength report with a seller pitch - strength, never an invented price.
Domain Audit: what a used domain used to be (Internet Archive), topic changes, spam and blocklist signals.
Domain Health Check: expiry, transfer lock, DNS, SPF, DMARC, blocklists.
Short Domains and Drop Calendar: pronounceable 3 to 6 letter names that are missing from the zone, and expiring names with estimated release dates.
It is a PWA inside a WordPress theme: a web app manifest with its own scope (/app/), a service worker that keeps only the app's look and an offline page (never a lookup result), icons, screenshots and a shortcut per tool. The tools are server-side PHP and a small Python API; the front end has no framework. The data is the registry's daily zone file, used under its terms, so there is no bulk export of names - you get answers, not the list.
"Not in the snapshot" is not "available", and drop dates are estimates. Every result says which day it is from.
Free, no account, no ads. There is also a free Chrome extension and an optional paid plan with daily keyword alerts on the website; the app itself has only the free tools. Feedback is very welcome.
