Developed one of the fastest segmentation algorithms for 3D
Developed one of the fastest segmentation algorithms for 3D Point Clouds. Proposed a novel image representation of 3D point clouds to quickly detect 3D objects. Proposed to use Disjoint set data structure to efficiently track and create clusters from scan line points of lidar point cloud. Current implementation runs at 20-25 Hz on a consumer laptop.
