@gent lets you email tasks to Codex or Claude Code running on your own computer.

Quick setup

Install uv and sign in to your coding agent, then run:

uv tool install atgent
atgent init
atgent doctor
atgent install-service

Once the runner is ready, email [email protected] from your own Gmail. Put your instructions in the body and choose a subject:

Codex: fix the failing tests
Codex/website: fix the footer links
Claude [opus]: review the auth flow
Claude/website [opus, terminal]: review the auth flow

The subject selects the agent, project, model, and optional Terminal mode. Omit options to use your defaults.

Background tasks send updates and results in the same thread. Reply with another instruction, status, or stop.

Keep your computer awake and online with the runner running.
