The problem we couldn't ignore
Every time we shared a link — for a campaign, a launch, a piece of content — we'd check the analytics and see the same thing: a number.
847 clicks.
That's it. No context. No explanation. No answer to the only question that actually matters: why?
We'd open spreadsheets, export CSVs, cross-reference traffic sources, and spend an hour doing analysis that should take ten seconds. Every single time.
We weren't alone. Every solo founder and marketer we talked to had the same problem. They weren't short on data. They were short on answers.
So we built urldn.
What we built
urldn is a Link Intelligence Platform — branded URL shortening, deep click analytics, and campaign attribution, with a built-in AI data analyst that reads your real data and answers questions in plain English.
Not "you got 847 clicks."
"Your LinkedIn campaign outperformed Twitter by 3x this week, mostly driven by mobile users in the US clicking between 6–9pm."
That's the difference between a number and an answer.
Every insight comes directly from your data. No estimates. No hallucination. Just your numbers, explained.
Who we built it for
The solo founder running three campaigns at once with no data team. The marketer who knows their content is working but can't prove which part. The indie maker who shares links every day and wants to understand what's actually moving the needle.
People who need answers, not dashboards.
How we think about building
We build in public. We share the wins and the failures. We talk to users before we ship features. We move fast and we stay lean — because that's exactly how our users operate, and we think tools should be built by people who live the same problem they're solving.
We believe the best analytics tool isn't the one with the most charts. It's the one that tells you what to do next.
The team
urldn is built by a small team of founders obsessed with the gap between data and decisions. We've built SaaS products, run campaigns, stared at dashboards, and got tired of never getting a straight answer.
We're based in Morocco, building for the world.
Where we're going
Every link you share is a data point. Most tools collect that data and leave you to figure out what it means. We're building the layer that connects the data to the decision — starting with links, expanding to everything a lean team needs to understand their growth.
This is the beginning.
"The only URL shortener where you can have a conversation with your data."
