Insurance Policy Document Builder

- The web application was designed to support different methods to create a booklet for policy documents in different languages. The application used to take rules as input, and push the information in JSON format to another server which then created a PDF out of the given information and print it. - It was built using Spring Boot, Angularjs, and MySQL. - I worked on the back end of this application. - I was responsible for creation of Rest APIs, definition of new database table structures, JSON request/response structure, developing excel file parsing functionality using Apache POI, writing unit tests, testing REST Apis on Postman etc. - I was also responsible for writing complex SQL queries to retrieve the data from the server. - Received an award for writing bug free code. - Technologies: Java (Spring Boot, J2EE, JUnit, Drools Rules Engine), Git, Maven
