Kai for Chrome is a free Chrome extension that transcribes your meetings 100% on-device.

Press ⌘⇧K (Ctrl+Shift+K) on any Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams tab. Kai transcribes the call live, then writes a clean summary plus action items the moment you stop.

No account. No upload. No bot joining the call. Whisper Base runs locally in your browser via WebGPU, so your audio never leaves your machine.

Why we built it: every meeting tool we tried wanted us to pay per seat, sign up, send our audio to their servers, or drop a bot into the call. This one does none of that. It's free, and it's staying free.
