SwiftGate is an operating system for AI agents.
Instead of treating every agent as a separate tool, SwiftGate provides a shared environment where different agents can operate as nodes in one system. Claude Code, OpenCode and other external agents can work alongside SwiftGate’s own agent harness.
Agents can share persistent knowledge through the SwiftGate Brain, maintain their own context, communicate with peers, participate in boards, trigger scheduled or peer-based wakes, use MCP integrations and operate with configurable capabilities and permissions.
SwiftGate also provides a centralized action log. Because agents, models, tools and connected machines interact through the same layer, SwiftGate can maintain a unified view of system activity and make actions more traceable and observable.
The built-in agent harness allows users to create and configure agents with system prompts, skills, models, permissions and wake schedules. External agents can be connected through the SwiftGate CLI and become part of the same environment.
SwiftGate is BYOK-first and does not charge for model-token usage. Users connect their own providers and can connect local machines through the CLI. Local agents and local models are an increasingly important part of the product’s direction.
The system is accessible from desktop and mobile, with additional messaging access through Apple Messages and Telegram.
SwiftGate is built for developers, AI engineers, technical founders, teams and anyone who wants multiple AI agents to work together as one system.
