I'm sharing here a bit about my life in Ukraine and about my indie-hackering.
I have a 9-5 job. I work in IT for ~10 years already. I'm a father of a small girl. I have a perfect wife! Trying to build something here that will help me to leave my 9-5 but in the end life in Ukraine forced me to get 2nd job=)
SO I'm working now 6:00 - 19:00 a day. Also saturdays.
But anyway, I try to find few hours here and there and improve my products and invent something new also. I love reading and running. I'm glad to meet new people. Reply to all direct messages. Can give you useless advice if you are only a beginner on this jorney!
You might ask how's is a live during a war?
So it's already 4th year that the war is going on. The fightings are mostly on a front line. I live in Kyiv, where there no fightings fortunately.
But we face the war in weekly attacks with drones and rockets. Yeah it's mostly ones per week in average.
When it's few of them - we do nothing. Because they likely all will be intercepted. If it's a big attack (and we have a lot of monitoring digital services that will warn you) - me and my family goes into underground shelter. Thankfully we have one nearby and there's kind of warm. This winter is really cold, we have -18 now, that is not usual for Ukraine for the last few years.
Attacks are mostly at night so in the evening we take our daughter, warm blankets and go there for the whole night. The place we live where hit several times with debris. Not our particular apartment, but neighbouring ones. But it's already fixed/being fixed. Windows are being replaces really fast.
Also we have because of attack - electricity power shortage. So it's like part of a day we don't have electricity. As it's not a first year like that - we got power storages everywhere, or generators. So in our place - we have it because of storages.
One more thing it's a draft to the army of a 25-60 y.o. man. In my case, as I said previously - I have another 8h job that provides me a deferment from military service. You might guess what's the kind of job I have.

PS. forgot what I was going to add here, but let's live the place here for that=)
