Every app measures screen time — how long you look at the screen. iVisionGuard measures screen distance — how close you hold it.
The front camera reads the distance on the device and alerts you when the phone comes closer than the safe distance. Move it back, the reminder stops. After a couple of weeks the alerts mostly stop happening — the habit takes over.
The constraint I set myself: no internet permission at all. Not restricted, not optional — absent from the manifest. Nothing is recorded, nothing is uploaded. That ruled out analytics, crash reporting and remote config, and made a few things harder to build. It also means the privacy claim needs no trust.
