Technical Implementation: Embedded Control: Programmed an Arduino Uno using C++ to serve as the central processing unit for the system. Actuation System: Interfaced Servo Motors and Motor Drivers to control the mechanical lid and sorting mechanisms with high precision. Circuit Design: Engineered a custom circuit layout to power multiple components efficiently, integrating salvaged electronic parts to optimize cost and sustainability. Key Features: Automated Operation: Replaced manual interaction with sensor-based triggers for touchless usage.
