dobudex is a Pokédex for real animals. Scan the animals you see, grow your dex, and compete with your friends. It's an animal scanner turned into a retro game, old-school handheld pixel art and all. You learn a lot about animals, and it gets people outside.

The part I care about: it's a game, not a scanner with a skin on it. Closer to Pokémon GO than to a wildlife ID app. The pull is the collection you're building, the cards you end up sharing, and the friend you're trying to stay ahead of.
