LurkAPI is a social media data API for developers and AI apps. One GET request returns clean JSON from public pages on 16 platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), Threads, LinkedIn, Google, Bluesky, Snapchat, Telegram, Truth Social, Linktree, eBay and any public web page.
The 88 endpoints cover posts, comments, profiles, follower counts, subreddit feeds, video details, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram transcripts, and ads from Meta's Ad Library, Google's Ads Transparency Center, the TikTok Ad Library and LinkedIn's Ad Library.
It works inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code as an MCP server: add https://api.lurkapi.com/mcp, sign in in the browser, and ask in plain English, for example "What ads is Allbirds running on Facebook right now?" Developers get plain REST: GET with query parameters, JSON out, one x-api-key header, with an OpenAPI 3.1 spec, llms.txt and code samples in six languages.
Pricing is pay per call with credits, not subscriptions. Most calls cost 1 credit, credits never expire, and failed calls (bad parameters, rate limits, 5xx errors) are free. You can try 5 requests a day without signing up, new accounts get 100 free credits with no card, and a balance under 25 is topped back up to 25 every day. Packs start at $9 for 10,000 credits.
