FaceArena is Now Live on Peerlist: My Journey to 160 Users in 7 Days!

I'm incredibly excited to formally announce the launch of FaceArena right here on Peerlist! As a solo founder building FaceArena during my time at the nFactorial Incubator 2025, launching here first felt like the most natural step. I wanted to share my project with a community that values building, innovation, and provides insightful, constructive feedback on new tech.

What is FaceArena? Redefining Online Play

At its core, FaceArena is an online multiplayer party game designed to inject genuine fun and spontaneous interaction into your virtual hangouts. I've integrated webcam-powered emotion detection using a specific JavaScript model to make your facial expressions the game controller.

Imagine diving into the "Don't Laugh Challenge", where an emotion detection model analyzes your face to see if you crack a smile while hilarious memes flash across your screen. The true magic, however, lies in watching your friends' desperate attempts to keep a straight face – their expressions alone are often enough to make you lose!

This unique approach fosters real-time, personal connections and ensures every game session is unpredictable and full of genuine laughter. And importantly, all emotion detection happens locally in your browser; no facial data is ever stored.

From Idea to 160 Users in 7 Days: My Rapid Journey

The path to launching FaceArena has been a whirlwind. A challenging task from the nFactorial Incubator pushed me to develop the core product in just one month, driving incredible focus and rapid iteration.

Since the beta version went live recently, the response has been truly inspiring. In just 7 days, FaceArena welcomed 160 enthusiastic users! This early validation, seeing people jump in and genuinely enjoy the game, fuels my passion and confirms the appetite for novel interactive experiences.
