The Launch Directory is the permanent public archive of product, startup, and business launches. While most launch platforms treat a product’s debut as a single-day event that disappears into the feed the next morning, The Launch Directory files every submission as a dated, searchable page that remains on the record indefinitely. Each entry becomes a lasting document that Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and other systems can read, quote, and cite long after the launch week has ended. The site’s defining principle is simple and repeated throughout: filed once, found for good.
The platform publishes in weekly editions that run Monday to Sunday (UTC). Visitors can browse the current week’s launches, explore the full archive, filter by category, search by name or topic, or follow specific founders and sections. Rankings within each week are determined solely by community votes from signed-in readers; votes are never sold or influenced by payment. Separate from the organic vote record sits a Billboard section for paid placement, ordered by total contribution and clearly marked as such. Domain Rating (Ahrefs) is checked daily for listed products, with clear indicators showing whether a domain’s DR has risen, fallen, or stayed the same since the previous check. The site itself maintains a strong Domain Rating (recently reported in the high 60s to around 70), along with Majestic Trust Flow and Citation Flow figures displayed openly.
Founders submit by entering their website URL. An AI system reads the public pages and drafts an initial profile—name, tagline, description, features, category, FAQs, and social links—grounded in direct quotes from the founder’s own site. Fields the system cannot verify are left blank and marked accordingly. Founders then review and edit every field before anything goes live. Nothing publishes until the profile is complete. Two main paths exist:
A free listing enters a queue and publishes only after two conditions are met: the Launch Directory badge appears on the founder’s site, and a complete founder profile (photo, name, role, country, short biography, and at least one personal link) has been filed. Free listings keep certain profile sections locked.
A paid launch ($5) publishes immediately or in a chosen future week, unlocks the full profile, makes the primary website link dofollow under the platform’s rules, and allows week selection. Additional paid options include extra categories, homepage or category sponsorship slots, newsletter placement, and editorial features.
Once live, founders can edit descriptions, taglines, FAQs, links, and other details at any time; changes take effect immediately. They can also claim and verify their listing by proving control of their domain, earning a Verified badge. Relaunches in later weeks are supported, and previously earned votes are retained. Multi-site founders can keep core information synchronized across listings.
Beyond the weekly record, The Launch Directory maintains a transparent ranking of other launch platforms (nearly 200 tracked), ordered primarily by Domain Rating with secondary metrics such as estimated search traffic, AI citation frequency, pricing model, and link type (dofollow or nofollow). This list helps founders decide where else to file. The platform also offers developer and AI access: a REST API and an MCP connector allow tools and assistants (including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and VS Code) to search the archive, compare alternatives, and submit products directly from chat interfaces.
The site is free to read. Community features include voting (one vote per launch for signed-in users), leaderboards, Launch of the Week recognition awarded each Sunday to top vote-getters, founder profiles, and the ability to follow people or categories. A free domain age checker provides registration history and technical details. Support is available through an on-page help assistant that can answer from a user’s own account record, plus email contact with the editorial team during published office hours. The service is operated by Zinn Digital Ltd, a UK-registered company.
What sets The Launch Directory apart is the combination of permanence, AI-readability, community integrity, and transparency. Launch-day attention fades; a dated page that search engines and AI systems can continue to discover and cite does not. Founders gain a lasting home for their product story, measurable backlink value (especially on the paid path), and visibility that compounds rather than expires. Readers and researchers gain a clean, week-by-week historical record of what actually launched, ranked by real community interest rather than paid promotion alone. In an ecosystem crowded with temporary feeds and nofollow directories, The Launch Directory functions as the standing public ledger of launches—one that is designed to still be useful, citable, and discoverable years later.
