Your servers. One cluster.
Zela is an open-source platform that brings your Linux servers together into one Docker cluster. Deploy applications, manage workers and networking, and monitor workloads from a web dashboard, CLI, or compatible AI assistant.
Deploy and scale applications: run container images, change replica counts, set resource limits, and update eligible managed deployments.
Manage your workers: connect existing Linux servers, provision supported hosts over SSH, and drain workers for maintenance.
Configure networking: set up an optional encrypted WireGuard mesh, inspect worker Docker networks, and manage application routes and TLS.
See what is happening: check cluster health, container logs, measured resource usage, history, alerts, and activity.
Work with AI: connect ChatGPT, Claude, and other compatible assistants through MCP to inspect the cluster and help manage workloads using natural language, with read-only or management access.
Choose how you operate: use the browser dashboard, remote CLI, or REST API. Store manager state in local files or PostgreSQL, with optional active/standby managers.
Zela started as the infrastructure layer behind NEXUS AI. Its manager and worker agents are written in Go, and the project is licensed under Apache 2.0 so you can use, modify, and share it under the license terms.
Explore Demo mode locally before connecting real servers. The screenshots and demo video show simulated workers and workloads. The repository includes the source code, demo recording, setup guides, and everyday management documentation.
Workload recovery recreates eligible managed containers on another suitable worker. It does not copy application volumes or database files between servers.
