🛠️ Feature Update: Bringing REST APIs to QRcdr

One of the hardest things in product development is deciding which feature comes next. You don't want to build in a vacuum, but you also want to keep the product lean.

For QRcdr, I decided to look back at its history. This project started 12 years ago as a PHP script on CodeCanyon. Since then, 1,700+ customers have shared their needs, frustrations, and ideas.

One request that kept popping up was: "Can I connect this to my other tools?"

So, we just rolled out the REST API functionality. We tried to keep it humble but effective, focusing on what developers actually asked for:

✅ The Endpoints:

• /me: To keep an eye on account status and usage limits.

• /qrcodes: To fetch and manage the list of dynamic QR codes programmatically.

• /{id}/stats: To export scan analytics and integrate them into external dashboards or CRMs.

• /generate: To create static QR codes on the fly via POST requests.

Beyond the SaaS:
This update isn't just for our direct users. For agencies using our WordPress Plugin license, it means they can now offer API access to their clients, adding a professional layer to their own service offering.

Developer Experience (DX):
Integrating APIs can be a pain, so I added an in-app API Explorer. You can select an endpoint, set the fields, and get ready-to-use code in cURL, PHP, or JS. Plus, we included Live and Sandbox keys to make testing safer.
