Developed for ASEAN-INDIA Hackathon 2021. Won Encouragement Award. Was one of the 80 students selected from India to qualify for the first ever ASEAN-INDIA Hackathon. Led and worked in a team comprising participants from various countries.We developed a traffic management system for coastal regions under the theme Blue Economy.

The system was a platform to be used on ships and vessels travelling in the ocean. It allowed for easier and faster communication between the travelers and the authorities.

Features:

Realtime communication between AIS(Automatic identification system) and Ships in the sea, included automatic detection and identification of ships from satellite imagery (powered by YOLO + Darknet ML API).

Automatic switching of data sources like Radar, AIS, Satellite Imagery based on amount of traffic nearby.

Collision detection as well as navigational guide (directions, route planning)
