StudyTub — A Better Way to Learn
StudyTub is a web application built around a simple idea: make online learning more organized, focused, and accessible.
With so much educational content available online, learning can quickly become fragmented. We jump between videos, tutorials, documentation, articles, notes, and different websites just to learn a single topic. StudyTub explores the idea of bringing the learning experience into one dedicated space.
The goal isn't to replace the resources students already use, but to create a better environment around them — a place where learning feels more structured and easier to continue.
StudyTub is designed as a simple digital study space where learners can explore educational content and build a more consistent learning workflow. The focus is on keeping the experience straightforward rather than overwhelming users with unnecessary features.
From a development perspective, this project was also an opportunity to work on a real-world JavaScript web application, think through user flows, build an interactive interface, handle responsive layouts, and deploy the application publicly using Netlify.
One of the biggest things I learned while building StudyTub was that creating a product is very different from simply building features. Every interaction needs to answer a basic question: does this actually make the user's learning experience easier?
There is also plenty of room to take the idea further — personalized learning paths, progress tracking, notes, quizzes, revision tools, collaborative learning, and AI-assisted study features could all build on the same foundation.
For me, StudyTub is both a product and an exploration of how we can design better digital experiences around learning.
The idea is simple: less time managing the learning process, more time actually learning.
