The project addressed critical challenges like data security, network reliability, and scalability by integrating advanced technologies such as VLAN segmentation, OSPF routing, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Wi-Fi 6. It not only honed my skills in network design, cybersecurity, and system integration but also underscored the importance of future-ready infrastructure in transforming healthcare delivery. The scalable blueprint we developed serves as a replicable model for hospitals embracing digitalization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Designed a hierarchical network (Core, Distribution, Access) for EMRs, telemedicine, and IoT integration. 2. Implemented security measures like encryption, ACLs, and port security for HIPAA compliance. 3. Tested network reliability and performance using Cisco Packet Tracer. 4. Analyzed costs and documented impacts, enhancing patient care and telehealth access.
