Kishi Notch turns the notch on your MacBook into a soft, interactive island, so the things you care about show up right where you are already looking.

• Messages drop into the notch: WhatsApp, Messages, Mail and Slack. Press Reply, type, hit Return; you never leave what you were doing.

• Your next meeting counts down, and Join opens Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex or FaceTime in one click.

• Music, Spotify and video in Safari or Chrome, with a vinyl-style player, a waveform and a source switcher.

• AirPods and other earbuds show left, right and case battery the moment they connect.

• Timer, stopwatch, volume and sound output, camera and microphone in use, Focus, and a file shelf with AirDrop.

• A menu bar battery you can style, with health, cycle count, live power draw and time remaining.
