EcoConnect

Kotlin Android application that connects individual households to NGOs near them that provide the means of garbage collection. This is facilitated with the help of Google Maps. Users can also detect whether the waste they have can be recycled with the help of AutoML Vision Edge, an ML model used to classify images of garbage. Made under Google Developers Solution Challenge 2021 - UN sustainable goals sustainable cities and responsible consumption & production.
