A dashboard only helps if someone is looking at it when the problem starts. Most payment issues don't announce themselves — an acquirer gets slow, a batch of transactions gets stuck waiting on 3D Secure, an auto-adjustment silently gets switched off after a negative balance — and by the time someone opens the dashboard to check, the damage has been running for hours.
So instead of asking merchants to babysit a screen, we built monitoring that comes to you.
Payneteasy's monitoring (Tools → Monitoring in the dashboard) tracks a specific list of things that actually cost money or trust when they go unnoticed:
Processor unavailability — usually network-related, and the first thing worth knowing about before support tickets start arriving.
Transactions stuck waiting on 3D Secure — a sudden spike here is often the earliest fraud signal you'll get, well before chargebacks show up.
Unexpected status changes — payments quietly shifting state in a way that creates record inconsistencies between your books and ours.
Critical transaction failures on predefined processor error codes, not generic "declined."
Auto-adjustment systems getting disabled — this can happen after a negative balance or a deactivation event, and it's the kind of thing nobody checks for until reconciliation goes wrong.
Low merchant account balance — a $1,000 threshold on Live accounts, so a payout doesn't fail for a reason that was visible days in advance.
The setup is deliberately boring: connect a bot to your account with a token, pick which alerts you want, and notifications land where your team already reads messages all day — not in a dashboard tab that stays closed until something breaks. Four steps, and after that it's zero-effort until it fires.
None of this replaces looking at your numbers. It replaces the assumption that someone will notice a slow-burning problem before it becomes an expensive one. A merchant who gets pinged about a 3DS spike at 2pm can look into it the same afternoon. A merchant who finds out at month-end reconciliation is explaining a support ticket, not preventing one.
If your current payment setup only tells you about a problem when you go looking for it, that's the gap this closes.
