The screening of cervical cells is an interpretative process of morphological characteristics and depends on the experience of the professional who is making the diagnosis. We propose to generate an application that allows integration and collaboration between cytopathologists in a simple way and without significant modifications to the equipment available in the laboratory, using an optical microscope and a cell phone. The platform will allow the acquisition of the image and the sharing of users’ interpretations, providing an environment for exchanging experiences and a second opinion, considering the different knowledge of professionals and students. This continuous learning environment will guarantee not only a quantitative number of cases but also a diversity of injuries, which will corroborate to keep these cytologists updated and attentive, increasingly accurate.
