Not another AI IDE
Most coding-agent tools are becoming editors. Superagent takes the opposite approach: keep Claude Code or Codex as the engine, and give the agent a computer around it.
The conversation sits beside a real browser on your logged-in sessions and an iOS Simulator the agent can tap, swipe, and inspect. You can watch the work happen, take control at any time, and judge the result by using it, not only by reading terminal output or diffs.
Chats and panes survive restarts. Each conversation can work in its own git worktree and branch. The iPhone companion lets you follow a run and answer permission prompts away from your Mac.
It runs locally on the Claude Code or Codex subscription you already have. No Superagent account, hosted AI, API-key bill, or telemetry. The Mac app, iPhone app, and optional end-to-end encrypted relay are MIT licensed.
Free, notarized, and currently available for Apple Silicon Macs.
