Remote Operations for OHT Vehicles In semiconductor cleanroom environments, driverless Overhead Transport (OHT) vehicles are essential for the transport of sensitive goods such as wafers, reticles, and cleaning materials. Currently, when technical failures occur, manual interventions inside the cleanroom are always required, leading to significant time delays, process interruptions, and personnel effort. The central question of this Design Thinking Challenge is: How can we develop a concept for remote operations that enables reliable remote analysis and resolution of OHT vehicle failures—without entering the cleanroom?
