I developed a scalable asset management system that integrates SCADA systems with BACnet, enabling real-time monitoring and management of industrial assets. The system uses Node-BACnet to facilitate seamless communication between SCADA systems and the backend, allowing for the efficient collection and processing of asset data. I designed a robust backend using Node.js and MySQL, ensuring smooth handling of real-time data updates, asset tracking, and condition monitoring.
To enhance the user experience, I implemented Mapbox for location tracking, allowing users to visualize asset locations on interactive maps in real-time. For media file storage and data management, I integrated AWS S3, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective storage solutions. The project also features real-time notifications that alert users to critical asset conditions or performance issues, improving decision-making and reducing downtime. Additionally, I focused on optimizing the system's performance to handle thousands of concurrent requests, making it suitable for large-scale industrial environments.
