Developed a group chat application for Android platform using Java, Android Studio, Firebase. The application allows real-time messaging between users and Firebase Realtime Database is used as the database for storing the messages. A user can register in the application by using either Google Sign in or by using other email id. This application was developed to provide a single window for everyone and for the college to connect with the students easily. The application has many other features like validating email id, resetting password etc., Worked on the project for 3 months and lead a team of four in the development of the application and acted as a lead developer.
