Connect dots to become the LEADER who doesn't pretend to know everything. Listen first, don't guess.

Most problems could be solved if you just listened. That’s the simple rule every leader and designer forgets.

Connect dots to become the LEADER who doesn't pretend to know everything. Listen first, don't guess.

How does listening more than talking help you understand people and fix real issues?

Most people talk too much. They want to explain. They want to be heard.

But here’s the thing: people usually tell you what’s wrong if you just listen.
They don’t need advice.
They need someone to hear them.

When you talk less, you notice more.
Tone. Hesitation. What’s unsaid.
That’s where the real problem hides.

Talking fills space.
Listening creates space.
And space lets the truth show up.

Leaders who listen don’t guess.
They don’t over-plan.
They don’t pretend to know everything.

They wait. They observe. They connect dots.

This matters at work, in design, and in life.
You can’t fix what you didn’t hear.

Slow down. Let people finish.
Don’t interrupt to sound smart.

Most answers arrive on their own.
You just have to be quiet long enough to catch them.
