In late 2025, I've met with a few great UX specialists virtually. What I noticed the point got repeated.
Newbie designers focus on polish. And startup founders are hungry for progress.
There is a large gap happen which cause friction. Maybe sometimes, polishing makes you feel productive.
But SaaS product owners need to get the outcome. Trends will be changed.
And tools?
May Figma could get rotated in a few years. Because AI is evolving faster than we think.
However, this will never change; Polish design and UX without a business context are merely decorative.
If you’re a designer, it’s for you. Understand the business first.
Real leverage comes from understanding constraints, designing for trade-offs, and prioritizing outcomes over aesthetics.
And the designers who understand that don’t fear the future. They shape it.
