Why I stopped playing the same game as everyone else and started telling the real story behind my work

Showing up matters because people trust what they see often. But here’s the truth — if you’re showing up the same way as everyone else, you’re basically just another face in the crowd. The internet is full of people doing the same thing, posting the same way, saying the same words. If you want to be remembered, you need to break that pattern. You need your own voice, your own rhythm, and your own twist — something that makes people stop scrolling and actually pay attention.
For me, that means playing the game differently. Here’s how I’m going to beast: I pulled down my Dribbble to fuck ’em. Why? Because I don’t want people to judge me by polished mockups alone — I want them to know the brains, the thinking, the blood and sweat behind my work. I’ve chosen to build in silence, not rushing to post every small thing just to feed the algorithm. Instead, I give much more time to research than just completing tasks for the sake of finishing them. I dive into problems deeply, explore every corner, and find solutions that most people wouldn’t even think of.
And that’s where the magic happens — people love hearing the story of how I solve every little problem with UX and customer experience. They want to know the “why” behind my decisions, not just the “what” I created. That’s why I record videos, not to brag, but to tell the story, step by step, of how something went from a problem to a solution. I show the struggles, the iterations, the unexpected insights. Because that’s what people connect with — the human side of creation.
Over time, this approach does something powerful: it attracts people to me, not just my work. It makes them believe in my ability to solve their problems, because they’ve already seen me do it, not in a highlight reel, but in the messy, real-life process. That’s the trust you can’t fake. That’s why showing up — in your own way — is one of the most underrated, yet most powerful marketing moves you can ever make.
