CricScorers — Project Description 🏏

CricScorers is a full-stack cricket scoring and tournament management platform built using the MERN stack, designed to bring professional-level scoring, statistics, and tournament organization to local, club, academy, and grassroots cricket.

The platform allows users to score matches ball-by-ball with complete cricket rules support including T20, ODI, and Test Cricket formats. It handles runs, wickets, extras, strike rotation, partnerships, fall of wickets, DLS, super overs, declarations, follow-ons, draws, and generates detailed digital scorecards.

Beyond individual matches, CricScorers includes a complete Tournament Management System where organizers can create tournaments, generate fixtures, manage squads, enforce player loyalty, maintain live points tables with Net Run Rate calculations, handle group stages and knockout rounds, and automatically track tournament awards like Orange Cap, Purple Cap, and Player of the Tournament.

Players get detailed career profiles with batting, bowling, fielding, and captaincy statistics separated across formats. The application also supports public tournament sharing, allowing spectators to follow live scores, fixtures, standings, and results without logging in.

Built with React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Firebase Authentication, and JWT, CricScorers combines real-time cricket scoring, analytics, and tournament operations into one complete platform.
