I built ClipShip to turn long talking-head videos, podcasts, interviews, and lessons into short clips without sending the source footage to a video-processing service.

Import a recording, let AI suggest useful moments, then review the shortlist. ClipShip prepares vertical clips with face tracking and word-level captions. You can edit the captions and headlines before exporting for Shorts, Reels, or TikTok.

In Local AI mode, the video, transcript, clip selection, captions, and rendering stay on your computer. There is also an optional API mode: the source video stays local, but transcript text goes to the AI provider you choose.

ClipShip runs on Windows 10 and 11, and Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 15 or newer. Local processing has no per-video credits. Internet is still needed for setup, account and license checks, and online features.

It's a clip generator you review and export from, not a replacement for a full video editor.
