💡 I had applied for GrowthX and they gave me an interesting assignment 🤩

Context:

Cult.fit has been valued at $1.15 Billion from their last fundraise. Their product has been a rocketship and has grown tremendously in the last few years. But, people overlook the growth levers that really got them there, especially Mergers and Acquisitions.

Task at Hand:

Write a script for an explainer video script describing Cult’s M&A strategy as a key lever to their tremendous growth. Break it down into segments and describe how exactly has it been helpful.

Things to keep in mind: The ideal video length is between 6-8mins. For references, look at GrowthX, Vox and Johny Harris on YT.

I went heavy on the research side and started creating as i got info for my story to form , that is why you see 4 different versions or rather iteration to reach the final copy which is yet to be completed but

The real fun in this project was connecting the dots of insights from podcast to my understanding of business to the facts

this where I realized my real talent is on research side

I understood I need to be better at storytelling and realized i was really curious that is the reason i was able to get many questions that i tried to answer while researching

although it is not the perfect copy hope you can get any learning from the project
