Zeptap is a Mac app that gives your AI agent a real iPhone. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any other MCP agent can see the screen and tap, swipe and type in any app on your phone, using the accounts you're already logged into.
The screen comes in over the USB cable. Taps and typing go out over Bluetooth: your Mac pairs as a keyboard and pointer, and AssistiveTouch turns the pointer into touches. You don't need Xcode, a developer account or Developer Mode, and nothing is installed on the phone. Pairing Bluetooth is the only thing you do on the iPhone itself.
Your agent gets 17 tools. It can tap on-screen text by name, so tap_text("Share") reads the screen with on-device OCR and taps the button. It can also open apps, swipe, type, wait, and lock or unlock the phone. After every action it gets a screenshot taken once the screen stops moving, so it can check what happened before the next step.
Unlocking is optional and set per phone. The passcode is kept in your Mac's Keychain and is never shown to the agent.
Setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor, Hermes and OpenClaw takes one click. There's also a built-in chat that runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription.
Everything stays on your Mac. The MCP server only listens on 127.0.0.1, there's no account, and screenshots never pass through our servers.
What you can use it for:
Running a brand's own Instagram accounts from the phone: posts, replies, and the DMs and stories that posting APIs can't reach
Having a coding agent test your TestFlight build on a real device, with real sign-in and push notifications
Errands in apps that have no API, like booking a class, changing a setting or cancelling a trial
