YouTube without the algorithm. I built it.

I got tired of opening YouTube for one video and closing it 45 minutes later having watched none of the things I actually wanted to watch.

So I built NoSuggest.

It's a free PWA that lets you follow specific YouTube channels and only shows you their latest videos. No homepage. No recommendations. No Shorts. No autoplay. No sign-up required.

You decide what you watch. The algorithm doesn't.

A few things I am proud of:

  • Kids Mode with PIN lock — so the algorithm doesn't get your kids either

  • Works offline as a PWA — install it, it feels native

  • Backup and restore your channel list

  • Completely free, no ads, no data collection

Just launched and got to the front page of Hacker News — 1,800+ visitors from 91 countries in 24 hours. The response confirmed what I suspected: a lot of people are exhausted by algorithmic feeds but don't know there's an alternative.

If that's you, give it a try: nosuggest.com

Open source too: https://github.com/No-Suggest/NoSuggest — a ⭐ goes a long way.
